Banquet Hall & Ballroom

Picture
Lancaster Masonic Temple is located in the heart of walkable historic downtown Lancaster, and is within the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area.

The Temple's historic reconstructed 1838 American colonial Banquet Hall / Ballroom can be rented for meetings, workshops, seminars, receptions (wedding/funeral/other), dances, recitals, etc.  The room has a thick parquet floor which has a long history of dance events.  Please keep in mind that there is no alcohol consumption permitted.

Our facilities include the use of folding tables and chairs, accessible restroom facility, and recreation room.  There is table seating for about 100 people in the dining room in our normal set-up.  There are additional long tables and chairs available.  Official rated capacity is 200.  The room is approximately 3,000 square feet.

   Guest Wi-Fi available.

Accessibility & Parking

Picture
The Temple building is partially handicapped/wheelchair accessible.  The two parking spaces in the rear lot on either side of the southeast door are handicapped spaces.  There is no ramp (yet) to the door, but it is a shallow step of about six (6) inches rise, and can be managed with assistance.  We do have a portable ramp than can be deployed if needed.

Inside, there is a wheelchair accessible restroom just off the dining hall.

Picture
The Temple has a small parking lot behind the building, which is accessed from Pearl Street behind the lodge.  It should be noted that due to the incline of the driveway ramp and stone walls on either side combined with a narrow street necessarily limits accessibility to cars and pickup trucks, though a small box truck (such as a 10-footer) should be able to navigate this.

In addition to the lot behind the temple, there is free unrestricted street parking on High Street in front of the building as well as the surrounding streets.

Fee Schedule

Members of Lancaster Masonic Bodies: $150.00 per day
Non-Lancaster Masons & Appendant Masonic Bodies: $200 per day
General Public: $400.00 per day + $25/hr custodial fee

Local charitable non-profits may be eligible for a reduced rate.  Please contact the Temple Office for more information.

The current rental fees are a flat daily rate, regardless of the number of hours for which the facility is rented. If additional time is needed a day prior to the event for set-up, this may incur a charge for an extra day, depending on how much time is needed. Please contact the Lodge for more information.
